My first degrees were in political science and English literature then I trained as a language teacher.
I have been working with clay since 1995 and my initial inspiration was the work of Contastin Brancusi. I am fascinated by the varied possibilities which clay can offer as an artistic medium. For many years I was self taught then I joined the Glasgow School of Art and completed a BA in Ceramic Design in 2010.
